give a plot summary of your favorite thing. maybe give a version with spoilers and one without: nonspoiler, silent hill 2 is about this guy named james sunderland who received a letter from his dead wife and goes into an abandoned town called silent hill. silent hill is loaded with monsters. silent hill 2 revolves around the story of a widower, named james sunderland, who received a letter from his deceased wife and journeys through silent hill— a seemingly spoilered spoilers: james killed maria about a week ago. characters (short summaries): james sunderland (touch upon water world), laura, mary, maria, angela orosco (fire), eddie dombrowski (ice). some of the enemies (what they are and what they represent to james): lying figure, mannequin, pyramid head, nurses. og vs remake? both! i like them both. remake is a wonderful homage to the old game. i like the different endings. why sh2 over the other silent hill games? i like all of the silent hill games and originally i almost planned to make a general sh shrine, but i wanted to go into more depth about 2 since it's my favorite. i just prefer it more with the themes, but 3 is very close. sh2 is like a worldbuilding game about what it's like to be someone else outside of directly/indirectly dealing with the cult that gets caught in the curse over the town. discuss themes surrounding disability, caretaking, guilt, running from the past/something, dissociation and mental health
